Willie and his wife, Lynda, both trained in accounting, began building their own practice while working full-time at other businesses. In the evenings, they offered bookkeeping, payroll, and tax services to clients — a commitment that grew steadily until they incorporated WF Duncan and Associates, Inc. in the early 1970s.
Over the years, Willie and Lynda became known for their integrity, professionalism, and personalized service, supporting their Mooresville, NC community, Charlotte, and surrounding area with payroll, bookkeeping, and tax preparation. Their dedication created a firm built on trust, quality, and long-lasting client relationships.
Even in the final months before his passing in 2024, Willie remained involved in the firm, retiring from the payroll and bookkeeping portion only shortly before stepping away entirely. Following his passing, Lynda and Gina focused the office exclusively on seasonal tax preparation, ensuring the same high standard of service continued. Lynda later retired, entrusting the business to her daughter Gina, who carries forward the family legacy with confidence, expertise, and commitment to the community.

Building on the family’s long-standing reputation for integrity, professionalism, and personalized service, she has transformed the firm into a high-performing, client-focused tax preparation operation, all while maintaining the personal attention that clients have come to expect.
An IRS-approved Professional Tax Preparer for individual and business returns, Gina combines deep expertise with strong leadership and a commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and serving the local community — carrying the Duncan family legacy forward with confidence, purpose, and a modern vision.
Not to mention, she learned from the best for over 15yrs!

Chris will be the smiling face you see when you visit the office or the smooth voice you hear on the other end of the phone.
He is an IRS-approved Professional Tax Preparer but mainly handles all our scheduling, return drop off logistics, computer software updates and our website/social media outlets.
Chris is charismatic, comfortable in front of a crowd, a forward thinker, always prepared and never late.
He also has been a member of the Duncan family for over 35 years! They can’t get rid of him!
